The purpose of the benevolence fund is to provide financial aid to those who are in urgent need. The church has the right to adjust or decline an applicant’s request and may consider providing assistance other than monetary help. Benevolence funds are granted based on the merit of the application for the purpose of meeting primary, short-term needs. These needs are defined as those necessary for physical, emotional, and spiritual survival resulting from an unforeseen disaster.
Completed forms will be reviewed by church administration. A final decision will be made within 7-14 business days of receipt of the application form.
At the discretion of the church administration, documentation regarding income, personal bank statements and expenses may be requested. The church administration may request to speak directly to the vendor, business, or service provider.
If approved, a check will be distributed directly to the vendor, business, or service provider for which the applicant owes funds and never to the applicant directly.
